For those who complain of clubs exploiting their fans

Burton Albion V Manchester United

Seat tickets £30 adults, £25 for over 60's and under 16's

Standing tickets £25 adults, £20 for over 60's and under 16's

And if you want to park your car in the car park then it's £5.00

Now that is surely exploitation, I bet they don't charge those prices for normal games. That said they have sold out on the ticket front, so they are making a mint on the game

Can't blame them

Can set them up for a season or 2, better than them switching the tie to Old Trafford.

If the game was drawn at Old Trafford the ticket prices would have been the same anyway

I understand your point but it is their big chance to make some money out of an exceptional acheivement in getting this far.

I hope they win and I am sure their fans would be more than happy with the £30 entrance fee!!

About 5 years ago Morecambe drew Ipswich in 3rd round

at Morecambe, they increased the charges to £20 and the only complaints they received were from the Ipswich fans,
so--they gave them all a free pie,
the Morecambe fans just chanted
Town full of cheapskates.....
and 2 years later when Morecambe got Ipswich at Portman road they charged 25 and we got no free pie

You didn't get a free pie because you didn't get there until the second half!!!!

Or is that another story??

It's all about supply and demand

They'd sell those tickets three times over - it's the biggest game in the club's history and probably on a par with Barnsley reaching the FA Cup Final - You'd go to that one even at £60 a ticket. Now £22 to see Bradford City in a 2nd round tie - that's what you call extortionate.
