For those who complain of clubs exploiting their fans Burton Albion V Manchester United Seat tickets £30 adults, £25 for over 60's and under 16's Standing tickets £25 adults, £20 for over 60's and under 16's And if you want to park your car in the car park then it's £5.00 Now that is surely exploitation, I bet they don't charge those prices for normal games. That said they have sold out on the ticket front, so they are making a mint on the game http://www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk/index.asp owen
Can't blame them Can set them up for a season or 2, better than them switching the tie to Old Trafford.
If the game was drawn at Old Trafford the ticket prices would have been the same anyway I understand your point but it is their big chance to make some money out of an exceptional acheivement in getting this far.
I hope they win and I am sure their fans would be more than happy with the £30 entrance fee!!

About 5 years ago Morecambe drew Ipswich in 3rd round at Morecambe, they increased the charges to £20 and the only complaints they received were from the Ipswich fans, so--they gave them all a free pie, the Morecambe fans just chanted Town full of cheapskates..... and 2 years later when Morecambe got Ipswich at Portman road they charged 25 and we got no free pie
You didn't get a free pie because you didn't get there until the second half!!!! Or is that another story??
It's all about supply and demand They'd sell those tickets three times over - it's the biggest game in the club's history and probably on a par with Barnsley reaching the FA Cup Final - You'd go to that one even at £60 a ticket. Now £22 to see Bradford City in a 2nd round tie - that's what you call extortionate.
Well, only missed 15 mins..... a goal and just got in to see Morecambes star central defender sent off but, oh and the chuffin coach broke down on the way home also (as well as the way there)
seems fair to me, i think the fans will think thats worth paying for. now £20 and £22 to watch barnsley play scnuthorpe? thats the ticket rip off!
