In comparison yes, but no-one in their right mind would consider paying £23 (up to £27) to watch a 3rd tier game on a Tuesday night vs Fleetwood Town as "sensible". Our early-bird season ticket prices were semi-sensible but there's no reason why they couldn't have charged a flat rate of £300 instead of the ridiculous increase to £370. The only sensible prices this season in League One are Bradford's season tickets.
everyone is quick to rage at ticket prices. i think supporters need to put their hands up in this debate. fan demand for overnight success and better players, puts pressure on clubs to spend. where do fans think the money comes from?
Moan about lack of signings and moan when we're linked with players. Moan about price of tickets and moan about lack of spending. Your average fan doesn't know his 'arris from his elbow.
Cant say I`ve called for owt player wise, cos what I think has no bearing on the situation one iota. So for me personally whilst I am in a position to afford the early bird prices, it may not always be the case.
