just been down to get my ticket for setday, i expected this game to be catergory A but the lass in the box office said all but 2 of the home games are catergory A. i work shifts so cant get to every home game so dont buy a season ticket.that means paying 8 pounds more than a season ticket holder per match.this is disgusting when the club want people to support the club after promotion.does anyone have sheperds email address so i can have rant at him
why don't you just buy a season ticket for amount you probly go to a bet u av bought a season ticket twice over
There's some big clubs coming to oakwell this season pal. Only having 2 of the home games under Catergory B is about right surely? What teams would you put under this section? Haven't the club kept the same prices as last season? Catergory A: Barnsley vs Chesterfield or Barnsley vs Birmingham/Leeds/Southampton/Leicester etc... Good on them! (Y)
Best Value in League my arse - here are the lowest adult ticket prices at the Championship clubs Birmingham £15 Cardiff £15 Colchester £15 QPR £15 Hull £16 Plymouth £17 Burnley £17 Luton £17 Stoke £19 Sheff Wed £20 Barnsley £20 Norwich £20 Coventry £20 Leeds £21 Southend £22 Leicester £22 Deby £22 West Brom £23 Wolves £23 Preston £23 Sunderland £24 Ipswich £24 Crystal Palace £25 Southampton £28
RE: Best Value in League my arse - here are the lowest adult ticket prices at the Championship clubs How about an average price?
Well I only know prices for 2 clubs and you got them both wrong Barnsley - cheapest prices are £18 not £20 as you state QPR cheapest prices are £22 (in advance £24 on the day) not £15 as stated. Cant be arsed to check the rest. As for season tickets Barnsley at £275 seems pretty competative to me by your reconing if you go to half the games you will be OK
Sunday's News of the World Quoted the prices above. Barnsley's must obviosuly be the match-day price, you can't get in for £18 on a match day.
Sunday newpaper gets its facts wrong - shock You can get in to Oakwell for £18 for a Cat B game - admittedly its £20 for a CAT A No idea where the £15 for QPR comes from - I just looked at their website which I trust more than the news of the world.
they've got rid of catagories The same info is in the programme and on the website with no mention of catagories

MATCHDAY ADMISSION PRICES FOR THE 2006/2007 SEASON
Tickets for the big game are priced at:
East Stand and West Stand Upper Tiers Adults £22.00 OAP/Juvenile £13.00
Barnsley Chronicle Family Area Adults £22.00 OAP £13.00 Juvenile £9.00
East Stand Lower and West Stand Lower Adults £21.00 OAP/Juveniles £12.00
Enterprise PLC Stand (Pontefract Road End) Adults £20.00 OAP/Juveniles £12.00
All Disabled Areas £20.00 Helpers FREE OF CHARGE
