Wouldn't mind seeing a comparison for all championship teams...

Cheapest season ticket, pay on day price, price change from last year, what offers they have on.

Sure somebody did it last year, if they fancy doing it again.

    RE: What for?

Just curious to know how we rank.

Looking at Pontyenders excel file we definitely look one of the cheapest, but its not the only thing that matters.

    i.e.

have we increased prices while others have kept same or dropped prices?

how does our pay on the day price compare with season ticket.

what other incentives are there, like buy early and if promoted get free next year etc.

They are all factors that will have an effect on how many people buy tickets. Its not just the price, its how people perceive the value for money that they will be getting. A lot of fans will buy whatever, but the club need to put the effort in to get back some of the stayaways and part timers if we are to move on as a championship club.

Prices from £306 to £394. Id expect these to be one of the cheapest. Like many other clubs they offer discount if you buy early
    Lowering prices to £282-£363.
I would reckon we will be in the lowest few which is a good thing. Though still out of reach for many peoples pockets!

afraid too expensive for me and the missis. As I live near Huddersfield might go and watch them. At least it will be football not the dire rubbish thrown up by Davey. Another 2 years of Paul Reid ffs. No ta.

    Infamous one

How can you be a Barnsley fan and thnk of watching Huddersfield. They're rivals. I depise them as much as most people on here hate Wednesday. Anyway Can't see their prices being much lower than ours.

    RE: Infamous one

Its a question of cost. Transport to Barnsley is being curtailed, namely no service from Dalton to Barnsley by Stagecoach. That means you have to get the bus into town and the train out. Together with ST increase, it's just too much. Ig Galpharm prices are £22 then I won't be going there either. It just seems ridiculous when Premier Clubs are lowering prices, Championship clubs are increasing. 9% in two years is well above published inflation rate.

I'm trying to understand, what appears, to be a feeble excuse particularly when extra effort of catching a bus and additional bus fares arise only every two weeks or there abouts.

Do you know infamous one i hate them so much it even hurts when i have to give them money to watch the reds there. Little girl gets sommuch stick at school from Town fans, but she understands its worth it. and she's only eleven. Transport seems an excuse, I'd help you myself but pick a mate up in Holmfirth on way through.
