For me it's more than just the pricing

    Although that is bad enough

Look at the prices for half season tickets.

Why is it that an adult and a juvenile ticket is more expensive in the family stand than in the Ponty End? I thought the whole idea was that the family stand offered cheaper tickets to families. It just doesn't make any sense. The match tickets for an adult and a juvenile are cheaper in the family stand than the Ponty End, but a half season ticket is more expensive. Who thought of that and what is their reasoning?

Then there are these 3 home games in 8 days. It's 3 weeks before Christmas, so spare cash is limited for many of us, yet they make the FA Cup clash against Bradford the same price as a category B game, despite budgeting to go out in the first round, while the Scunny game on Saturday is category A. For Scnuthorpe! Cheapest adult ticket in the ground is £20. For Scnuthorpe!!! If a bloke and his son wanted to go to all three games the cheapest they could do it would be £83. Who can afford that so near to Christmas.

    In fairness....

Ticket pricing throughout football is outrageous. If it were £15 a ticket I'd probably still say it's too high.
It's market driven though and if 9,000 people are willing to pay 20 odd quid a game then that's what the price will be.
The cost of merchandise is equally as alarming though. Considering the poor quality of the shirts in recent years the price is ridiculous.

a fair point. The fact is the club wont lower the prices because there is not way to know the attendances would go up. I understand the fincial postion. My work does not allow me to have a season ticket as i can not attend all games as for example tonights. I find the pricing awful though and must admit that if we werent doing well in the league there would be some cold winter games i could attend where i might just think ill stay in with the girlfreind!
