I got a kids season ticket with my own the villa and Newcastle games are on a Tuesday night bit too last for mine to stay up. My mate said he wanted to come to these games with me only last week. He isn't a massive footall fan but he comes to Tuesday night games every so often. Would it be possible to upgrade the kids ticket for these games so my mate could come instead of my daughter? Or will we still get fleeced? (The is no way he will pay £30+

My understanding is that you can upgrade them for the difference in price

Did it last season you have to pay the difference ( unless your mates small and childlike)

Unfortunately not that would make the villa game 25 quid for him so not too bad.

Hang on, aren't you the same person that wrote this?

You're defending the prices in one thread (and slagging off people who only go to the high profile matches but hey ho that's another point) and then in another saying that there's no way your mate will pay £30+. That's exactly the point that we are all trying to make. Casual fans will not pay over £30 as you've just proven yourself.

Like I said it's for my mate last time came oakwell was wolves at home when wolveswere relegated doesn't matter to me. And he is a big game fan but doubt he will pay £30+ to watch a game of football. It is high imo and will put people off buying match day tickets. I'm glad the club are charging leeds Newcastle Wednesday ect what we get charged to go their. Hopefully the club will do some offers for home fans in these games to make it more affordable. But 8300 season tickets is dissapointing too and people always have reasons not to buy one and then moan when matchday prices get announced.

To be honest we should all be challenging any club that thinks it's right to charge fans this price. Players are being paid too much and clubs are ripping of fans to pay for them. Where's the austerity in football?
