Pre Cheltenham, I gave up on trying to use the ticketing site as it just kep crashing. Ended up paying £2 extra to pay on the gate. Same situation for this game. Even getting into tickets is a nightmare - a list of coach journeys available ahead of an actual match that is happening in the next 24 hours. It's almost as if we don't want people to attend. Again, it's too late to get the advance ticket. Not sure I can be bothered now. Especially if I have to start cleaning seats when I get there. Another nail in the coffin.
Sorry to hear this Fi. From the outside looking in, it feels like a relationship where you are desperately trying to make it work but, having exhausted all possibilities - the let-downs, the false promises - you just can't ignore the pigeon sh4t that keeps reappearing on the seat. On a slightly-related topic, I was looking on the Bristol Rovers website to get a coach ticket up to Barnsley - incognito-style. Absolutely no travel options that I can see. I could try a local pub but things could get lairy and for me it's not worth the hassle. And I can't afford the £75 in petrol + match ticket + McPlant to drive. It never rains eh..
Thought I’d be away for this one, but back, and youngest is going so thought I might as well goZ i’m definitely out for the next one so that’s one less thing to bother with. I definitely wouldn’t bother from Bristol!
everything looks fine for me on the ticketing site. All forthcoming matches are available. Not sure what's happening here. Have you rang them?
I'm not going anyway, but out of interest I tried to find out how to buy a ticket. The only vaguely connected ticket I saw was a car park ticket, no match ticket. Then I spotted a "see more" button and eventually found it. Why it isn't splattered over the home page I don't know.
Just tried it myself & everything seemed ok up to paying(as I don't need a ticket) how far did you get in the process Fired?
Couldn’t get it to work at all before the Cheltenham game, or yesterday. Today it stalled on the ticket selection map. I logged out, and logged in again and it then worked, but the price is now £22, the same as on the turnstile, so I’ve decided to leave it in case I decide I just can’t be bothered.
I phoned up the box office with a query this morning. My Scouse daughter will be attending her first Barnsley game at the weekend. Tried to book the seat next to me on the website, but it had gone- phoned up and they moved my seat so we could sit together. She suffers a bit from anxiety so would not have sat on her own near me - so I would like to thank Andrea for her brilliant service. Site was fine for me
Can’t fault the staff any time I’ve dealt with someone in person. However, the online system is far from perfect.
