I posted that I would have to pay £95 for myself sonin law and two grand kids for Brum match. They come from Birmingham but my daughter is a Wombwellian. I ditched the idea. They have all made other plans but my youngest grandson wanted to go to match with me. I got the ticket office on 10 p a minute and eventually got to ticket sales. Guess what, you cannot order tickets on match days. Also if you want a reduced price ticket for grandson you have to purchase it at least 1 1/2 hours before match. What if I am a member? No difference. If I book on line as a member cheaper but £3 on line charge. The tickets go through Ticketmaster. If this is how complicated buying cheaper or just tickets is there any wonder we are down to 7 /8000 crowd. If you work Saturday, and finish at 1 .00 and meet lads at pub for a pint then to match, how does all the membership and cheaper tickets crap work. The management of our Club are absolutely garbage. They actually turn spectators away not get them on seats. All they are interested in are ripping us off with money making schemes like Ticketmaster, Barnsley player, no Sky monitors, Wheel Tappers and Shunters on the blink score board. Crap food, need I go on. It is rocket science on web site trying to get any news apart from on video. **** video, just give us the news on the web site in writing.

Not winning games is also a major factor

it doesnt affect me cause i've got a season ticket, but the utter ****** you have to go through to get tickets is a joke, especially given the ground is three quaters empty,
why they cant just charge the discounted price on the gate is beyond me.
today should have been 10 or 15 quid with the hope of getting a few more supporters in on the back of an extremely rare win last week,I know if was being asked to shell out 28 quid for me and 28 quid for ar lass on the back of what we've had to put up with for the last season and a half I wouldn't be going.

    Rule 1 for Any Business

DON'T MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR CUSTOMERS TO GIVE YOU MONEY.

This is particularly true when the price of the product is far too high anyway. As a season ticket holder I am shielded from the issues surrounding supporters trying to get tickets for matches, but I'm amazed at the stories about how difficult it is. You should be able to turn up at the last minute, pay on any entrance gate by cash, credit or debit card, and pay the same price as anyone else including child discounts etc. A small fee for using a credit card would be acceptable but otherwise the price you see is the price you pay.

Football is dying and not only at our club. Supporters will not continue to pay such high prices, and tolerate such bizarre ticket booking systems, for a mediocre product.

I'm not getting the £10 discount today, because I can't get there until after 2pm.

Ok, it's because I'm drinking, but so what?

Paying £28 though. Proper fan (idiot)

Thing is, the majority of fans are saying the same thing. The board is either dumb or don't care. So why should we keep paying it. They've lost loads of money this season, from me my mates and many others.

I have a ST but if I didn't I don't think I cba to jump through hoops like you have to to get the discounts. It might be put to the test next season too.
