Just had a glance at some of the posts. It shouldn't be beyond the wit of man for the football club to come up with a system that enables all Barnsley fans to attend. Unfortunately this was beyond the football club when we played Chelsea. Whatever they do I hope to god they get it right (for starters by not giving season ticket holders 4 tickets each) I 100% agree season ticket holders should benefit from being a season ticket holder but 4 tickets sells out the stadium. There are lots of fans who go to lots of games but for whatever reason they might not have season tickets who didn't get to go to the Chelsea game whereas lots of people who had never been to a game did simply because they knew a season ticket holder.
if they get 4 tickets and theres 10.000 season ticket holders by my reckoning if 4.500 get 4 tickets it will be sold out 6,000 to man u
1 per ST holder We benefit from having a time allotted to claim our seat for games such as this. That's enough.
I'd be very surprised if there's 10,00 season ticket holders. I think it was established last year there were 6,500 and given the anti-Davey sentiment pre-season as increase of 3,500 would seem unlikely. Anyway I just hope the club can resolve it because the bitterness around the Chelsea game tainted the cup run through administrative mismanagement. Despite having been to 8 home games by the time the chelsea game came round (I play saturday league so I can only make mid-week games and when I'm injured) me and my dad couldn't get tickets.
its forced to be 1 per season ticket if 10,000 or if 2 thats 20.000 ground holds 23,000 we give man u 6,000
at meetin wot was at east dene cryne announced they was just over 10.000 season tickets gone 4 this season
RE: 1 per ST holder Club statement before Donny last season was 1 ticket per qualifying criteria for big matches. So it will be 1 per season ticket and so it should be.
Correct After the Liverpool circus all thats required is that season ticket holders get a ticket each.
That sounds promising Occasions like this should be happy times and all our fans should get to see it
who said we give man utd 6,000? Why are some of our fans automatically saying we should/will give manchester united considerably more tickets than we have to?
Also the free child season tickets them seats are for kids, if they want them, so no letting them be upgraded to adult tickets until general sale.
You mean the north stand that is designed to be split in two? There is absolutely nothing stopping us from segregating that stand into home and away fans.
agreed Upgrading any free child seat is totally wrong in my opinion and I see absolutely no reason why the club allows it to happen
Texts from 'mates' that pillock Barnsley the rest of the time "Eyup m8 ru goin 2 man u match ?"
and whens only time its split in 2 when we got teams like swansea cardiff u see if split in 2 tommorow or vs newcastle sheff u or sheff wed
I think you're missing the point of how it works. It is DESIGNED to be split in two but there is no need for it to be split in two when the demand for tickets from home fans isn't there. When it is there then the stand is DESIGNED so that it can be split into two with away fans being at the tunnel side and accessing the stand from turnstyles in that corner and the home fans being in the east stand side of the stand and accessing via turnstyles in that corner of the ground. The two fans never meet. Just because we have made bad choices in the past about not splitting the stand to give OUR supporters the best chance of watching the game does not make it right. Arsenal and man city fans seperated by one steward.... [img=http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/01480/emmanuel-adebayor-_1480433c.jpg]
