I know there's a ballot tomorrow ......so are we expecting the ballot application process to be published tmrw also....or have I missed something?
The Ballot was scheduled for Thursday and the plan was we would apply from Tomorrow but there seems to be a large doubt that fans will be able to attend due to Swansea being in Wales and so not included in Boris's announcement of Stadia opening next week - Nothing from the club makes me think they have about as much idea what is happening as we have Bournemouth lottery tickets are on sale though as there is no doubt that fans will be in for their game against Brentford
Meeting at 6:30pm of the fans forum. Hopefully they will give us the latest update. Gally. will i believe relay the news. Once its finished. I hope some don't jump the gun. as last time. tweeting too early without the full information.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...s/swansea-city-press-conference-live-20535427 Reading some points from the press conference Swansea did today they seem confident fans will be allowed in.
That press conference is from last Thursday actually, before their game against Watford. He just says it will be nice to have fans back,as all managers do,I don't read into it that they're confident fans will be allowed in. Will be up to the Welsh politicians
Source. ? I have just come out of the finished meeting of the fans forum. The club appear to have to wait for the meeting of the welsh assembly on Wednesday for confirmation. I'll let Gally fill in the rest. That's not saying your wrong NYR but where have you heard it cos I can't find owt online atm.
Does that mean that it's been confirmed that if Swansea are essentially in a tier area where they can't have fans then us who are in a tier area who can will be prevented from doing so because of them? If so I can see legal challenges all over the shop from clubs disadvantaged earlier in the season
The club should just proceed with sorting tickets and working on the principle we will have fans there. Its now a matter of principle and given that the precedent set was that the fans attendance would be based on regional rules than we can claim this still applies. If anyone tells us different we should offer to play both legs at Oakwell and give Swansea free iFollow.
It’s the “English” FL ffs , A precedents been set earlier on in season . If no fans at all Semis fair enough but if they’re allowed at the other then there is nothing that should stop us also . If Welsh assembly stop Swansea then they take it up with them if they stop BFC I hope Dan Jarvis had had a say and anyone in his constituency ought to drop him an email telling him exactly what we think of it .
It's down to the welsh assembly. And a decision made by the EFL as noted last week. They are. given the entries are to be lodged from tomorrow. But I assume if its confirmed we can't have fans. They may not do the draw. Fill your boots. Don't shoot the messengers. The EFL made the decision last week at least.
I don't understand what it's got to do with the Welsh assembly. We aren't in Wales any more than Millwall who had fans earlier in the season are in barnsley who couldn't.
