how many we sold for pigs away .don,t know if should go or not .29 quid to sit in that sh-t hole of a stand .robbing bast-rds
It's expensive They're robbing us cos they're not massive anymore Our record there is shocking The away end is horrible (concorse, toilets etc). Our away record is horrible You should go.
Hopefully we haven't sold one ticket but obviously that's unrealistic as despite all the things Fired mentions some still will still want the day out and help line their pockets with around 100k to put towards bringing in a player to help them stay up at maybe our expense.
It's a rip off, but it's not quite as bad as Leeds. But this is a bigger game because we have the chance to pull them back into trouble. If we care anything about OUR team, THIS is the game (and Donny) that we should all go to.
It's a **** hole but it's a must more or less every season for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don't forget we were charging £30 for most of our games not too long ago, Wednesday still employ the category system I believe so the prices are about right to be fair.
Not sure the wording of that is appropriate. Call it what you want, but £29 to watch a second tier game of football is not "right" in my book. Expected perhaps, but definitely not right.
Definitely not right mate, I just mean in the context of what the going rate is. Prices in the Championship are on a par with many top tier leagues in Europe, if not more more expensive, but that's how it's ended up unfortunately. A lot of teams have the category system meaning when we play them the tickets are at their cheapest, but with Leeds and Wednesday being local derbies it is considered a category A game by those clubs which is why the prices seem a shock compared with other away games. I do think the Football League should look at how clubs price different areas of their ground though, we paid £36 at Leeds which was the same as the most expensive tickets for the home fans but there is absolutely no way we had an equivalent view. I spent the entire game looking to my left and could barely see what was happening in the far box. That's where I think it's wrong, the price has to be justified in relation to what the home fans are paying for an equivalent view. Thankfully ticket prices have been quite stable for the last few years, all the clubs have realised that we are very close to a tipping out where people will just decide not to go.
I'm struggling to justify the cost of away days to myself, its just getting too expensive to watch a game of football. I'll probably go to Swillsbro but my days of going anywhere away are numbered unless something is done about the cost.
Plan on getting mine Monday. I'm a season ticket holder but a couple of the lads aren't so had to wait on them going on general sale. Hate it there though. The upper tier in the away end doesn't feel safe at all. The concourse is nowhere near big enough. It's another disaster waiting to happen.
