West Brom are selling their tickets online and through ticketmaster. Therefore no fans will have to que for 8 hours in the freezing cold. Why is it imposible for Barnsley to make similar arrangments?? Is it just that the current ticketing arrangments are the cheapest option??
Because Our Club Haven't Reached 2008 Yet Anyway, if they did online booking, you can bet that the website would crash
May be its because West Brom are a bigger Club than us.......... Bigger fan base, more money, and a Premiership/Championship yo-yo Club. We are just a medium size provincial Club and don't you just Love it.
WBA have had trouble with there online ticketing (it keeps crashing)thats why the've only sold 13.500 so far.
Ticketmaster are a rip off when it comes to booking fees and postage so you can bet your life if we had used them some folk would moan about that
RE: Ticketmaster are a rip off when it comes to booking fees and postage LIke you just did ! (chinny)
:x

RE: Ticketmaster are a rip off when it comes to booking fees and postage I wouldn't be one of them that moaned - I use ticketmaster quite often, and when compared to spending 5 hours in a queue and potentially having to take a valuable day's holiday for the priviledge of doing so, they could charge me between a fiver and a tenner per ticket to cover booking and postage fees in situations like today's and I'd still consider it a good use of my money to buy back those 5 hours of my life.

if our fans had to pay ticketmaster booking fees etc i would loved to have seen the uproar on this board.
RE: if our fans had to pay ticketmaster booking fees etc It seems that people just love to complain. They comlain about the current ticketing arrangement. And by the look of things would also not be happy with a resonable alternative. So why should the club change their policy??
RE: if our fans had to pay ticketmaster booking fees etc That's problem - people don't want to queue but they don't want to pay I think booking fees that we are subected to in this country are an absolute disgrace £5-10 for someone to stick a ticket in an envelope I think I'd rather queue!
