Tiger Woods using the word Spaz to describe how he putted.

Radio 5 had a phone in on it this morning.</p>

As I understand it , spaz is not used in the same context in the USA as over here.</p>

 

He needs a good kick up the fanny for that!

Just emailed a mate over there to ask him.

I'm pretty certain it is still short for "Spastic" but it's not seen as being derogatory as it is over here…..apparently from something I read it's also derogatory here to use the term handicapped.

I was referring to a certain golfer being a tit on the grounds that i assumed he was using the word spaz as a derogatory term. Having had a few things pointed out to me i am now of the opinion that i was wrong to term the man as a tit. I hope this is ok with you and that your digestive system is not too ruined by such a torrid remark on such a bloody saint?

I used to work at Middlewood Hospital and looking through the medical notes of some of the older patients used to throw up diagnoses such as imbecile, moron and cretin quite a lot.</p>



Some of those case histories were tragic beyond belief, women being admitted for being pregnant out of wedlock,  a &quot;difficult&quot; teenager who had smashed a window and was still in there 60 years later and many men who has GPI (general paralysis of the insane) caused by the syphillis spyrocete after a quick knee trembler in France during the war rather than risk dying a virgin.</p>
