    is Frankie Boyle. I mean WHY. He is the most obnoxious guy ever to have appeared on TV... He is absolutely doing the Scots no favours at all.

    I'm with you on that one, even though no one else seems to be. His one liners are just not funny enough to make me laugh whereas his lines in Not Going Out ARE funny. He works better with a script for me.

    Watched him a few times live when back in England, I think he's very good and to tell that many jokes in that short of time.
    But vic and bob will always be my faves, especially as tom and derrick

    It just doesn't appeal. One pun after another. I can't even chuckle at it.
    I guess, as someone else says, it's a matter of taste.
    I actually find Jeremy Vine funnier.

    Like most one-liner specialists, I enjoy him in short bursts. Gets a bit much after 15 minutes or so though. Same with Milton Jones, Stewart Francis, . Some great lines, but I prefer a narrative.

    Easy. I like good comedy and have been known to cry laughing and not be able to stop. But this? Total and utter, not to say AMATEURISH, rubbish. He should stick to being Lee Mack's mate in Not Going Out. He actually gets funny lines in that, but then someone else writes them for him presumably.
