Not that many of you will probably care but I am going to take a break from the bulletin board. A lot of what I have read this morning disappoints me greatly. As you will see from the numbers I don't post a great deal on here but I read the board religiously since the first one was set up. I spend far too much time of my life reading about eveyones lives and especially all things related to BFC, but I enjoy the friendship and rivally and tantrums and all that makes up the BBS. But this morning that changed. I was able to get two tickets yesterday by the fortune that someone was prepared to q on my behalf. I am a season ticket holder of around 16 years and a supporter for double that, but at this moment I am being made to feel like a leper who should not be allowed to walk this earth. I can understand a lot of peoples disappointment and anger, and I would probably have felt the same if I had not got a ticket. But the sheer viciousness of the anger between people on this board saddens me. Surely when it all comes down to it we should all be trying to pull in the same direction. So I hope things calm down on here soon and before anyone asks I will be taking my daughter with me, she is not a season ticket holder but has attended about five home league games and the four away ones that I have been to. (banghead)
That is just peoples disappointment. Most people aren't bothered about people who regularly attend getting tickets. And I suspect if things had been organised more efficiently, season ticket holders, and those that have been to more that a couple of games would have got tickets. Its the sky sports fans, that never go to games, that are only going to see liverpool, people are annoyed with. You know the sorts, in the pub on a sunday with their liverpool/man utd shirts on. Jumping up and down when 'their team', who they never go to see live score. </p>
Don't do 'owt rash! I've no problem with the 'plus ones' that are getting to go. The whole fiasco isn't their fault - I hope they have a great day out, enjoy the game, and even if just a few of them decide to start watching the reds, job's a good 'un. That's not to say, however, that the club have completely screwed up what should have been a very simple process and looked after the folk that make Barnsley FC a going concern.
You've got the wrong end of the stick I don't think people are slagging off ST holders who have got a ticket, but a lot of people have a problem that "once a year" fans are able to go. That and ******* like Oakwell.
