We have players with ability in Defence and to some degree Midfield but the Strikers are non existent. I would also include Macken in that.

If we are to survive then we need either two loan players (Strikers) or play somebody different up front we have on our books, I dont mean KC because he won't play again.

If we do survive then we need a complete clear out of 'so called front men'

I don't think we can loan anyone now can we?

I have been known to be wrong about these things!

So it's a case of making the best out of a bad job.

IMO it's not just the strikers thats the problem, we've got some serious issues in midfield. The amount of times Cardiff broke into a big gap in the middle was frightening yesterday. We also kept just missing midfield out and hoofing it straight up to the strikers which clearly didn't work. The problem is that there's only Howard in the middle who's comfortable on the ball. Hassell may win a few tackles, but Howard's the only option when going forward.

it's imperative that we stick with KO for the next 2 games

he really does need to get the miss out of his system. We are away for 2 games, therefore not as much pressure on him. If he could get the goals that leads us to 2 decent results. Perhaps, and a big perhaps, most of our fans will get off his back.

No you cant take any loans we need to as our best striker Paul Parry was missing yesterday. We do have Fowler to come back which will be like a new signing but wether he does or not is another thing.

If only our board had been brave this season and gone and got us another striker even on loan we feel we would have been right up there as it really has been anyones league this year.

Bristol City top with a 0 GD.

Are you still drunk from yesterday

I have defended him many times in the past but I am sorry but at some point you have to realise that there is only so much slack you can give him

He has scored 2 goals in 40 matches (0.05 gpg) - if he plays all 6 remaining games the chances of him scoring again are slim - around a 1 in 3 chance - if his confidence hadnt completely evaporated which it has now.

We have centre halves with a better strike rate ffs

Sorry - I like the guy - think he is a great person, cant fault his commitment - he tries his best but I just dont think he is good enough to play Championship football as a Striker.

Id seriously rather put Nyatanga and Souza as the 2 Centre halves and play Foster alongside Macken up front than start with KO again.

    - Though actually would give Christiansson or Coulson a start in reality

    No mate hardly had any..

As our supposedly '10 minute walk from the ground pub' turned out to be more like 30 minute walk. We were based at the Fusilier pub on Harrow road. however, back to the main point. I ake what yo say about KO, but I think the next 2 games would give him the opportunity to make amends. Last chance saloon if you like. Could make or break his carreer with us, or in general.

Think we will have to agree to disagree then

I dont think he has a career left at Barnsley
Though I would give him my support if Davey picks him again I think a large number of fans will be on his back right from the time his name is read out

As he is a "confidence" player I cant see how being booed before he even kicks a ball will help at all.

His only possible role in my opinion is as a sub to come on and run at tiring defences for the last 20 mins if JCR and Disco are running out of steam to set up chances for others. He is a natural goal misser

I agree, he hasn't a future with us

Some fans will boo him when his name is read out and that will just kill him.

I've always said I think he'll make it with us but I can't see it now. He'll be remembered for yesterday and I just can't see him getting over it.
