He has a say in it too. I hope he stays to secure us into the championship but realistically we will lose him if we perform well in the Championship. But Dale Tonge will hopefully be learning loads from him in the meantime. Would be great if he did stay though.

If I was a footballer or a manager unless I was working for someone like Man Utd or Barcelona I don't think I'd ever sign a new contract without a release clause.
Assuming I had ambition and faith in my own abilities.

But also as a manager I would nt want to jump ship until I'd fulfilled the task I'd set out to do. And I'd he wary of signing for clubs who went through managers at a rate of knots.

German managers seem to be the in thing right now.

I guess it depends on what he perceives to be the potential and ambition of our club.
I like Stendel, i love his style of play and think that since Moore was sidelined he's really started to earn his corn. Up to that point he had a squad that really should expect to be roughly where we are.
Should we go up that is when we really start to see his mettle tested.

Sadly managers don’t need release clauses. Compensation is payed and they move on. We’be done it ourselves with Johnson and Robins
