    He will be on whipping boy wages, I imagine, and the buck stops with him, whoever is at fault.

    Whilst some things may have been beyond Don`s control the communication coming out of the club leaves a lot to be desired. IMO.

    I am not sure about that. I am positive he is the one responsible for communicating such a thing. The message has to come from someone, if not Don who else? And I don't see anything wrong with letting the fans know as the week goes on what the state of play is. Takes nowt to get a message on the website and Radio Sheff, even in the Chron on Friday. Massive boob by the clubs GM. It wouldn't have meant the game was on but everyone would have been checking. And the pitch inspection should not have been left until nearly 1pm. What about the travelling fans and Brum fans? Poor all round.

    Sadly Cryne is unwell but even when he was well he never did promote us as well as Mandaric or Ryan promote their sides with regular interviews.

    Few people know what Barry Taylor does for us. He's no money and you never hear from him. He's voiceless to the majority of fans.

    So that leaves the guy they promoted Don Rowing to take all the flack. Yes he's made a fair few howlers but they are people above him who can overule him if they so wish.
