Back at right back as Foster looks so low on confidence! VH will get forward more and overlap/get crosses in, will Davey ever drop Foster or Macken?

    Shouldn't have to drop Foster

But he should play him in his best position - in the middle, therefore he should drop either Moore or Souza, with maybe even Hassell coming in at right back

Moore/Souza haven't done anything wrong though.

    3-5-2.

    Muller.

    Foster Moore Souza

    Da Silva Colace

    JCR Leon Devaney

    Hume Macken.

To me that suits us more than 4-4-2.

I think that actually looks fairly decentAnd I tend to agree about Moore/Souza, BUT we are not playing our player of the year in his best position and I think we should be. I also think Hassell (and maybe even Van Homoet) is a better right back than Foster, and Foster last season looked absolutely immense in the middle - best centre-back I've seen in quite a while

    Only problem is

We experimented with 3-5-2 in pre-season. And it was bad. Really bad.

But I don't think those played in it did they? IE playing Kozluk as a wingback won't work. Also, we didn't have the 2 holding midfielders in then either.

With the players in the squad at the moment that looks the best bet to me. If they can't play it, it's a different matter.

He played a lot of games at centre back last season actually.
