Oh man, Terry Pratchett has passed away. :(

I knew that he had been battling Alzheimer's disease and that he wasn't in best health, but I had no idea that he was that ill. There goes another favourite author of mine. What a horrible disease. RIP Terry.

"I believe everyone should have a good death. You know, with your grandchildren around you, a bit of sobbing. Because after all, tears are appropriate on a death bed. And you say goodbye to your loved ones, making certain that one of them has been left behind to look after the shop."

    Rest in Peace Sir Terry.....................

I hope you don't mean "Oook..", as in "Who is this man? I've never heard of him!"?

A true gentleman, a writer of some of the funniest and yet most soulful writing I have ever had the pleasure to read.

I first read him over 20 years ago and I last read one of his books last year and for many years in between he provided me with wonderful entertainment, happiness and smiles.

    Good night Sir Terry.
