I said that coming out of Wembley yesterday.

Time for him to make up with Christensen again too.

    Opinions ehh

I thought Hassell and JCR were our best two players. If you want to deride any of our midfielders take a look at Leon - total waste of a shirt.

    Oh that's right too.

Just think that Hassell there is a complete waste of time but Diego "He'll light up the division" Leon is yet to impress.

Have to disagree there, Hassell had a half decent game the problem him and Howard had was Cardiff played 2 upfront with 1 just dropping in the hole behind them. They couldn't work out who should be marking that player and consequently either both or neither of them did. Once this was sorted we started to play much better but with a forward line that aren't going to score in a month of Sundays and Cardiff pouncing every time a midfielder got a chance we were never going to score.

But Hassell has no idea where to be as a midfielder. He does not support the wingers very well as he does not have the engine to get up and down the pitch and always slows play down when he does get involved

But at least he makes an effort to get back, unlike many others who gently stroll (he was the one who came back to block the shot in the last 10 minutes beating all the defenders who had a head start on him). I agree he doesn't support the wingers but no one does other than the full backs. The midfielder's and to a greater extent the forwards plough a hopeless channel up the middle (there is no arching of runs or the simplest change of pace just a gentle stroll). This is easy to mark and defend against and then gives a false impression we look dangerous when the wingers cut inside and beat a man. However the situation is still the same as our other players continue to make there plodding runs up the middle.

I would stick with Bobby. I thought he looked like a fish out of water in his first couple of games in midfield but he is starting to do the defensive midfield role ok. He breaks play up often and in our half of the pitch he is wanting the ball. He doesn't offer anything going forward, will never shoot, and his passing does go astray at times (only once or twice yesterday though) but Togwell can't pass either, and Johnson won't get up and down and score goals. Our problem is up front, that is what needs changing.

Put Togwell or Johnson in. Hassel didn't close down and isn't a CM anyway.
Also Christiensen has got to be better then Stan and KO.

Booby Hassell at times yesterday he was our most foward player making the kind of runs Brian Howard should have been making
