On the 4 20 Radio Sheffield sports bulletin they plaayed part of an interview with Simple Simon in which he said, the first person in his office after Saturday's match was Patrick Cryne who told him not to worry his job was not under threat. Is this the dreaded vote of confidence?

    Probably not

Cryne really seems to think that Davey is the man to take us foward even when it's clear to everyone else Davey hasn't got a clue

If only he would make public exactly why he thinks Simple is the man.

I honestly think he might go if we lose tomorrow and perform ineptly again. Sheridan to come in on 3 month contract (for no other reason than he is available to do it). If there is another woeful performance then I can't see that it is going to change, without changing something. Underperforming badly. A loss tomorrow and we are at a stage where it maybe can't do much harm. But,

I reckon we will win tomorrow night, SD has a habit of getting results when it really matters. Maybe SD didn't hear PC say"..until the summer".

PC will be lonely next season - there can only be about 30 or so members of the Davey lovechild gang left.

if PC was thinking of a change of manager.............

which having heard him at the Supporters Trust meeting I don't think he is...........then the only real window is between tomorrow night at 10 o'clock until the end of March. Later than that and the games are coming Saturday Tuesday until the season end I can't see it being helpful changing things in the middle of those-There are 14 days in which a new manager might be able to effect some tactical changes-Branson in charge for the Derby game then hope for the &quot;dead cat bounce&quot;(PC's words not mine) </p>

A dismal loss tomorrow followed by a fans' protest may well make PC change his mind

RE: if PC was thinking of a change of manager.............

I agree, that is why I think it could happen tomorrow (or Wednesday). Get Sheridan (just guessing, not my ideal choice) in to have a game with them before the weekend off. Have a look at them, before having a 2 week period to coach them up to the massive Forest game. Hopefully we would get that new manager effect and be out of it after we beat Sheff U. :D
