For gods sake just shut up!!!! If we sack Davey it wont make any difference! The new manager will have the same squad of players! Let him bring some fresh faces in. If he fails at that then thats the time to get rid!
If Davey got the sack today There wouldn't be much time for a new manager to assess the squad and bring in his own players. </p>
LALALALA(FINGERS IN EARS) I WONT LISTEN LALALALA (simon lover alert) quick ....break out the rose colored glasses
I agree. Sacking the manager would be a bad move. He's kept us up several years running on a small budget, and I still think that we're a couple of players away from a half-decent mid table squad. Give him this transfer window and a few more matches.
Do you mean like the stand in manager at Norwich Offspring, i.e. the same players as last week and the week before that who have just beaten our team 4-0
Weve made no progress in last 2/3 years. I agree with stability but this is getting us nowhere his tactics are woefull, what did he say at half time to team cos it shot them down! 4 - 0 to Norwich please! I feel squad we have can take us places. but nt the manager someone said even if we sack him the new manager wont have the amount of time to asses the squad and bring players in. Leeds today, got a decent proven manager for league 1 brings lee trundle in a striker on loan, scores. wins the game. didnt take him long to asses the squad and delve into the transfer market! he's had his turn i feel and weve not moved anywhere. Relagtions looming.
Also bear in mind the end of January isn't the be all and end all in terms of signing players, we can bring in loan players for a further couple of months after that. So if a new manager took time to assess the squad it wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen. Sticking with this clown however will mean the end of our Championship status. He's already proved inept at bring in any decent strikers, he has failed dismally to address the left side of the team and his tactics are abysmal, even worse if we concede first, which happens more often than not. Change needed, and now, not after the Ipswich defeat.
