Anyone got any suggestions? (Come the new season we find only one poor girl working the east stand bar (away side), and 3 points for our visitors have been easier to secure than a bottle of lager.) Beer and football. We used to make our home results the reason why we "overachieved". We need to reverse a nasty recent trend. For a team with traditionally a "hostile" ground to visit we are now quite silent, almost resigned......used to having little to shout about. If the next generation can see the excitement on t.v., and then come to Oakwell and see a different product on the pitch plus no great enthusiasm, we are doomed. How do we give our team a home advantage?
Two way thing - the players give us summat to shout for and our response to that inspires them to up their game some more.
Fans should be behind the team and making noise regardless of how they're playing. That's just my opinion.
