Time to say good bye and move on....

The facts are that Brian has been a wonderful player for us over the past couple of seasons. Ok his performances this season might not have been upto the high standards he's set himself in the past. We could argue this is because he wanted to move on or that he felt the club hadn't rewarded him with a the contract he was hoping for... 2 B honest Im past caring... He's going end of......

The question we should be asking are who have the club lined up to bring in??? We should have spare cash available, we could either get someone in on a loan or even a deal similar to the one Howard will leave us on with a view to a permenent signing... I think we will all be in agreement we need to find 15goals from somewhere!!!

Another thought there are players who are out of contract, that we could sign permenently now.... Chelski have done it why not us!!!!!!

Yet another thought although Im happy the academy looks like its actually bearing fruit at long last, Im hoping that the club are going to rely on Butterfield/ Noble-Lazarus to fill the gap left by Howard. Im sure both have masses of potentional but doubt they will be able to fill his boots just yet!!!!

 

let's just hope he doesn't fail a medical or we stuck with a player no-one wants and who doesn't want to be here!

Butterfield could have filled Van Der Laan's boots as all he does is boot folk.

 

agree with that mate. Don't think we should rush out and buy someone just because we've got a few bob, unless of course the right player becomes available.

...............but anybody who comes a knocking can have who they want from a club with a small club mentality
