Too much talk for me about last Sunday. It's gone.

Listening to Heckingbottom that hes spent 5 minutes talking about last week. Say the players looked back at the game on Wednesday.

Doesn't sound happy about the event tonight and there will not be any parade on Saturday.

Says the next two are the two most important games.

Honestly don't understand why they went tonight. Really don't get it. It's gone,

Why don't you take up watching Tennis if winning things at football aren't your bag?

    It's gone.

If you want to talk Tennis you don't see the French open winner parading the Trophy around 4/5 days after the event. In recent years they have been back at it at Queens or the Tournament in Germany.

No I'm not Tyrone but it's getting silly. Sounds like Heckingbottom's got a similar view to it too.

It's not gone at all, it's a memory that will stay with me until the day I keel over. One of my best ever days as a Barnsley fan.

The league is important too, I agree. But I'm still watching highlights and fan videos from Sunday. A lifetime memory.

Agree with you Hemsy lad, why couldn't they wait until the end of the season and then do a presentation when knowing full well how important the remaining league games are? Ill reserve full judgement until we have played these two home games but I believe the club have got wrapped up in the euphoria of our Wembley win and lost focus of what's to come! We need at least f 4 points from these home games.

    Of course it's gone.

In any sport, win it, celebrate then forget it until the end of the season.

You're reading far, far too much into it, cocker. They didn't have to do the thing tonight - could have just walked the trophy round the ground on Saturday, but obviously Hecky being the consummate pro he is, thought it best to get this done tonight. Give the fans a look at the pot, it's an hour or so of the lads' time and as we know team spirits are high, so that won't be an issue for them. If they've watched the match back, I'm sure it was a) pointed out to them why it didn't work in the first half, and b) what they did right in the second and what they can achieve as a unit. And if it put a smile on their faces and sends them out on setdi with a spring in their step, then bravo.

You are such a bleedin' miserable killjoy. Suck the life out of 'owt....

Listen to what he said. Hes not happy about it. It's on Barnsley player They planned for Chesterfield today, and then they've got to go over Sunday again. It's not ideal. I just want the game to start on Saturday.

There's no walking anything around the pitch.

No I'm not going to forget it, ever. Just like I'll never forget the Bradford game, the Huddersfield game, the Man U game, or countless others. I still remember vividly games and trophies I won when I was playing, I can still replay matches in my head. Enduring memories of classic games are part and parcel of being a fan.

If it's gone and should be forgotten then why the **** have you spent the last God knows how many years bleating on about medals and using them as a definitive indicator of how good a player is or how he will be remembered?

It wasn't a BFc arranged thing anyway. it was an invite which they accepted.

At least it will give you something to blame and if they lose. You can then add hecky to your dart board for accepting along the side of Winnall and Houriane

Medals are something players think about at the end of the career not at 23 which is the average age of this squad right?

What?? You're not making sense now. Of course they're not walking it round the pitch. That's why they've been at the the Town Hall with the trophy tonight. And what else do you expect him to say?? "This is all fantastic and we'll be partying from now until the season's end"???? He knows they've a job to do, but also felt they owed the fans a brief moment with the team and the trophy that didn't impinge on anyone's time or preparations for the weekend. He's a smart lad, unlike some.

Don't worry Phil, I heard Heckys interview on my way home from work and he made it crystal clear that tonight was an obligation and definitely not a party. They've been training today and know that the next seven games are all cup finals. I get the feeling that Hecky will make sure nothing else is in their minds.
