Very enjoyable. Best commentary I've ever heard. ;-)

Agree on that one. We were trying to do our pre-match sequence and it was deafening.

I did quite like the fact it was initially clips of goals v Donny ... Good idea.
    Was very loud though.

Leave the noise level as it was today. Ive been to many away grounds and have always thought that the Oakwell P.A. was quieter than the others. Today sounded just right but the build up music (Queen - One Vision) when the lads are in the tunnel still didnt give me that spine tingling effect but it was an improvement.

It was brilliant, had the hairs on the neck standing up. I pushed Don on my meeting to get this back as it really builds up a pre-match buzz, I also said the ground is flat leading upto kick-off and we needed a lift. The commentary during it was a master stroke, even though it was very loud, this is what is needed pre-match. A fantastic well done to BFC for getting OUR song back but a bigger well done for going one further and bettering it. Quite liked the Queen music as well as the words ment something for us, sort of all pulling together for one aim.

I thought it was bloody excellent - massive improvement on recent match build ups. If they could do that each week, with commentaries of goals against whoever we are playiing that week, it would be awesome. Having heard it I don't know why anyone hasn't thought of it before.

Any the volume was spot on - would have been pointless if the volume was down.

Get some of the cup goal commentary's on, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. Also the Millennium stadium goals.
It was a breath of fresh air, especially with it being 5 minutes before kick off, and blasting out in the concourse as it gives people an indication on when to start heading to their seats. Hate seeing people rolling in 5 minutes after kick off.

    Why?

I agree with others in this thread, thought the added commentary was a great idea. Just a pity we don't have a video scoreboard to show the footage along with the commentary

totally agree gets the football club sounding the business and looking it too if we had a video score board .generates atmosphere among the home fans especially younger ones with the disposable income who can choose where to spend there cash on a week by week basis don't think it was too loud, gets thew Big club message across ,
bieng part of something successful will only generate new support, especially from new fans who don't read what we have achieved or experienced it!
next time they do it it needs to be put together just as good .Barnsley FC is on to a winner with this,we need to shout about what we have achieved!

Enjoyed that bit. Maybe a couple too many commmentaries would be my only criticism, went on a bit too long. But the Queen song? Didn't work. I have been liking the Stone Roses music, thought we could maybe add some Fanfare on to it.

They know it was a success..

And according to facebook they are to continue with it but with different commentaries.. but, I was too late getting in anyway, and it was just finishing as I took my seat. Plus I had to faff about trying to find a programme. So if thats the new intro, Im going to have to get down a tad earlier and drink one lager less
