Yes or no? Someone mentioned it in another thread.

This is the definitive Timerider poll. Do not pay attention to other Timerider polls.

Honestly, couldn't give a monkeys, the football is good right now, so they could waltz out to a selection of songs from Mary Poppins as far as I am concerned.

Yes for me. It's cheesy, corny, 80s but it means Barnsley Football Club to me.

What they DO need to do is play Seven Nation Army - White Stripes before they play Timerider and the teams come out. Especially with our new 'Weeeeee're the Red and White Armyyyy' chant it will get the place bouncing and whip up a great atmosphere in time for kick-off!

Think it's the cheesy aspect that makes most people love it

It is "the hitman and her" tune to me, that's what I associate it with first. I prefer "fanfare for the common man", makes hair stand up on yer neck. Then into "7 nation army" so we can sing "we're the red and white army".

I love it, did when I first came and still do. Cranked up when everyone used to clap it was great, shame people don't clap so much now but I still love it. Really liked the timerider with a twist last season (recent goals mixed into it).

    Yes to timerider
No to 'this is only the beginning', '5...4...3...2...1...', or anything similar
No to playing timerider for 20 minutes on a loop before the teams come out only to turn it off the second they appear out of the tunnel.
No to lying and saying 'the teams are in the tunnel and the referee is knocking on the dressing room door'. You lying lying barsteward. Why the f*** would the referee walk past the teams who are lined up in the tunnel and then stand knocking on the dressing room door? It's like me going to my mates house, passing him in his front garden and walking up to his front door and knocking on it for 5 minutes. This PA announcement is usually followed by a 5 minute wait for the teams to walk down the 25 mile long (presumably Channel) tunnel.
No to playing embarrassing commentary during the theme tune.

I actually love Timerider, takes me back to the good days at the end of the 90's...yes it sounds dated but so do the songs of most other clubs
