    It's also not in the sales pitch that the club trotted out when trying to get fans to part with their hard earned money.

    That’s 100% they promised the same style as Duff pressing and getting on the front foot, said the head coach had been recruited especially as he fit the profile??? That said of all the Lies Khaled told that was probably a minor one. At least that silent assassin skulked off to the major league, oh hang on that was another Khaled con.

    The 1st half yesterday was as bad as I've seen for years. Tippy tappy play around the defence no one in midfield wanting the ball no ideas so just a long hoof usually to the blackpool keeper often out of play or the defenders just won the ariel battle ahead of Cole and macatee. Giving possession back to Blackpool who had a idea of how they wanted to play. If he wanted to play long ball he should have started Cosgrove. The style of play has been boring all season but we got results with cole in the form of his life and Roberts in goal now both those players have dipped in form the footballs ***** and we concede 2/3 goals a game. Not good when it's renewal time.

    I'll be honest, I never buy into this 'xyz isn't our style'. For me, the right style is the one that wins matches. The best managers are able to adopt different styles. If we were a possession based team with results at the end of it, people would be over the moon. Unfortunately our version of it just utterly ineffective, as Collins' version of this is to pass it around your own half until you either a) get dispossessed or b) give the ball away.

    Whatever style you adopt, you need to be able to execute it. We've seen terrible versions of every style over the years. Whether that's possession, press, long ball, 4-4-2 etc.

    The amount of times this season where people have said 'worst half I've ever seen', is a serious worry. As Wednesday as it sounds, even when we were in reach of autos, people were still questioning the style of play and how many times we had actually properly dominated a team for 90 mins. Now the results have disappeared, all that is being massively amplified and for about a quarter of the season, we have genuinely looked like relegation standard.

    If we somehow manage to get the job done on Saturday, the other play-off teams will be absolutely licking their lips at playing us.

    It's because Pep and Man City play like it and we also had Khalid banging the City drum. Who came from City so he MUST know what's best..
    And so all the simpletons who run football clubs up and down think because they are successful, they too will be..
    But shush.. don't let on that it may actually have something to do with the standard of player they have..
