will not fix a fault, and instead of fixing it and getting BT to do their job they've asked for the line to be stablished and my speed killed. They will not give call backs they pass the buck and ill have my next 4 months free.

My dad thought the same about them. Gone to talktalk and they're much better.

I'm on tiscali and the line speed last week was terrible. So I turned the box off and on and it works fine. I live in town centre and it's been great in general, so cheap and does exactly what I need it to 95% of the time.

Talk Talk were awful for me- they have the absolute worst customer service I've ever known. Passed around places in India with advisors that barely spoke English for half an hour at a time telling the same story and unable to fix the faults

    Nothing wrong with them!

I've no problems with them after 18 months with them. AOL is worse!!

you sort of get what you pay for

    when it works its great
I get decent speeds around 6 Meg at home

Had huge problems when I upgraded from 512 to the 8G service - speed dropped to around 100

It was a nightmare to get past the call centre who kept telling me to clear my cookies and reboot
finally managed to get to talk to a proper engineer who took a quick look and found that when they upgraded they had set a switch wrong in the exchange - its been fine since.

Also had a problem when the phone line has gone down - pisses me off to call a premium rate number from my mobile to tell them my line is dead and then have the hassle of them wanting to know the model phone I use etc etc.

The call centre is rubbish - a load of untrained poor english speaking staff who can only follow a set of questions and answers - once they have been through that (and if you are basically tecnhically competent you already did all that) they are stuck and dont seem to have any escallation.

huge difference to Zen who we use at work - their support is brilliant - but they cost more and you dont get free phone calls
