Portugal vs Iran and Togo vs South Korea. Still superb atmospheres despite being "unfashionable" countries - both still sell-outs ticket wise as well which was great.

We were sitting with the Iranians for their match - scary people. Koreans were absolutely superb!

    The Iranians

They'd have all had bombs and stuff wouldn't they. And gone around shouting 'You American Pigs!'. Bet they all ate loads of dates too.

    'both still sell-outs ticket wise'

As opposed to going 'a bit commercial' like MC Hammer.

Other than selling all the tickets how else could it have been a sell out ? Other than MC Hammer-esque, natch.

    I sung:

"My old man said be an axis of evil fan

    And I said B*ll*cks, you're a lovely person"

Which didn't go down very well with my old man, as he was in fact sitting next to me.

    Yup, both gone to cardiff

Reid has signed a new contract. Kay, Austin, Hassell, Colgan and Shuker haven't, despite the 4 week deadline that the club gave them to sign being up last Friday. We've offered Steve Foster, centre half from Crewe, a 2 year contract but he hasn't signed as yet. Also offered some other unnamed player a contract, but he hasn't signed either.

Chops and McP have chased Riddys' fools gold.

We've offered a certain Steve Foster from Crewe a 2 year contract, plus some othe as yet un-named player.

Reids's signed a new deal. Hassell probably will, Kay and Colgan are having a think, Shuker's disappeared, and Austin's been linked avec Southampton.

When we play Southampton we're having a sesh with Scarfy and the newly wed IOWT.

I'm still going south of Nottingham remarkably.

if you're neither overwhelmed or underwhelmed, can you just be "whelmed"? That's pretty much how i feel about that little lot...
