Muller - Played like a less talented Martin Taylor, the worst goalkeeping display I have ever seen in a Barnsley shirt. Put about six kicks in touch apart from the two comedy goals.

Foster - Has gone badly downhill since last season. At one point he actually fell over his own feet. Out of position, still fairly steady though

Souza - Thought he actually had one of his better days, did OK

Moore - Gave away 97580809621768756 free kicks in our half of the field, which was a problem. Lack of pace exposed in the second half when we were more stretched

    Kozluk - Uneventful, steady

LEon - Always involved, always wanted the ball, passed it quite well. Tackles like a softer version of John Inman. Took about 16 corners, only one of which brought about any decent chance.

Da Silva - Like Muller, had his worst game in a Barnsley shirt I would say. Appeared to strop off when substituted, but Simon was right to bring him off as he looked like getting sent off. AT fault for the second goal due to a Leon style powder puff tackle.

Disco - More Japanese Whispers than Ministry of Sound.

Campbell Ryce - The usual. Solid graft and some decent breaks down the right wing. My man of the match for us.

    Macken - Missed a sitter

    Hume - Missed a sitter.

All in all - it was cack. And yet we should have been two or three up after 20 minutes.

Was he really that bad? Worse than Tony Warner at Coventry?

    Maybe thats an overreaction

He had a nightmare though. Two comedy goals in one game. Doesn't make him a bad player, but it was just a disaster - especially after we had a pretty bright start.

so from that i can deduce that the team are intent on shooting themselves in the foot every game.

There didn't seem to be any lack of effort or motivation (although heads dropped when it went to three, unsuirprisingly) but yeah, we did shoot ourselves in the foot with the misses and the first goal, as they came at a time when we were playing as well as I've seen us this season.

The thing is though - he can't be surprised at us missing chances. We'll continue to consistently miss chances until we find a prolific goalscorer.

We created chances. First time this season.

I'm not in any way shape or form a Davey fan, but getting rid now could create more problems than it solves.

Can someone point out a striker to him though ?
