you can stop worrying now, the nasty man that kept pinching all those trophies over the years has gone, so you've now got a full 12 months to find someone else to blame for your teams short comings
Stop crying....within a minute of Sir A leaving the pitch the media were talking about Rooneys transfer request......he's chip paper already....such is life. More importantly has Bobby signed a contract extension
I'm more concerned with David Flitcroft than Sir Alex Ferguson. Whatever he does, or whatever Man Utd do will never come before what Barnsley FC do.
I think that was Fergie's final parting shot revealing that in the post match interview, couldn't help but laugh.
Greatest manager ever. I wish we could have a manager for the best part of three decades that lives for the club like he does for them. But if we had a successful manager he wouldn't be with us for long anyway.
I have a feeling that only Spurs in the current top six will start next season with the same manager that they have now.
Not sure it was myself, thought what he was doing was pointing out this had already happened so telling the fans not to blame Moyes if Rooney goes. Thought Sir Alex was excellent with his speech, asking the crowd to be patient with the new manager, it was like he was passing the baton.
Certainly one of them but I still think Bob Paisleys 6 Championships and 3 European Cups in 9 yrs and Cloughies achievements at Forest and Derby can stand up to Fergies achievements
Agree to a certain degree. But the point is that Ferguson has done it, repeatedly, over 26 years. Buying, selling, rebuilding 7 or 8 times. To me that is why he is the greatest manager ever. Not only in football either - but in any sport. Clough doesn't compare. Paisley maybe, but perhaps there was not much opposition over that period. That's why Ferguson's success in longevity is the overriding factor for me. We will never see anyone as successful as him again.
