To all that sent best wishes for my son Daniel

    Thank you all very much. I have printed them off and will be taking them to hospital in Manchester tonight.</p>

    Update.</p>

    He had his 2nd operation yesterday. This was to confirm that there were no allergic reactions or infections caused by the 2 plates and 6 pins inserted into his lower right leg. He has other bumps and scrapes but they are minor. He also had to be given blood on Monday after servering an artery in the accident.</p>

    He's only 16 but he's a tough kid and will be fine.........eventually!</p>
