Im a season ticket holder, and I park down on Donny Road. Can all you part timers please not park near the railings at the school. I've parked there all season, so I deserve the space more than you.
most important of all REMEMBER... we are the team in RED and the point of the game is to kick the roundy thing into the netty thing-hope this helps
RE: most important of all REMEMBER... Oh, and please remember, the words to "Danny Wilson's red and white army" have changed......
RE: most important of all REMEMBER... And dont sing the following anymore.</p> "Ashley Ashley Ward, he gets the ball, scores a goal Ashley Ashley Ward."</p> Change the words to 'Paul' and 'Hayes'.</p> And you dont sit in the Ora stand anymore.</p>
RE: most important of all REMEMBER... and also, "Just Like Watching Brazil" doesnt really crack it in this league. Although on rare occasions it does get sung, but no-one ever really means it anymore.
Agreed I walk down to every game so can the part timers please ensure they don't dawdle in front of me
RE: most important of all REMEMBER... Change the world to "Paul" and "Hayes"....oh and change the words to the bit where you sing "when he gets the ball he scores a goal" as well....not sure what you could put in though
RE: Agreed and i have a pre match piss about 10 mins before kick off so it best not be busy in the ponty end toilets
i never understand whay people always have to eat at the football. its only 2 hours as you say, and considering how much it costs it always just think sod that
RE: Agreed I'm sure you'll still get all those people dashing for their half-time pies about 35 minutes into the game. They'll then return 55 minutes into the game after drinking umpteen pints during that time. All the (our) goals will occur during this period. They will moan about that fact for the remainder of the game.
RE: Agreed And I'd like to get a pint in less then 5 minutes, so the part timers should allow me to the front of the queue at the bar in the gatehouse.
RE: i never understand every week at the same time? its only two hours who wants to pay stupid prices for ***** food? just always puzzled me
There are exceptions I guess Such as going straight from work. Only time I've bought food at Oakwell was when I used to work nights and get up at 2pm to go straight to the game on a Saturday.
