Agreed, played some reight balls through and looked more solid than Eckersley. Any ideas who will replace hassell if he gets banned (fingers crossed his appeal is upheld)
Austin will deputise I would be amazed if Hassell gets off. He was provoked severely but he did react. And let's face it, refs don't like admitting they're wrong.

Hecky was worst player, he dwelt on the ball a couple of times and got robbed in dangerous positions. He is always out of position and doesnt get tight enough. Hes got to go.
finally just been reading down this thread praising Heckingbottom. National Red has it spot on saying he lept standing off people. A number of possible chances or half chances came through him, and it really says something when McSheffrey switched wings just to have a go at Heckingbottom. Eckersley is not perfect but still looked far better, I would even go so far as to say I would prefer Austin as second choice behind Eckersley on Hecky's recent performances.
RE: I must have been at a different game If Hecky scores the winning goal at W.B.A to keep us up, they will invite the Queen to knight him in front of a civic reception outside Barnsley town hall. Shep will offer Heck a five year contract and a open top Rolls Royce to parade round the tarn to adorning fans, and he will spot thee in the crowd and show his smiling arse at your blushing little face.
