    Where's the third option?

Win against Southend, Spurs, etc etc, win the cup and avoid relegation, just narrowly missing out on the playoffs.

Or am I being overly optimistic?

    Where's the third option?

Win against Southend, Spurs, etc etc, win the cup and scrape into the playoffs.

Or am I being overly optimistic?

RE: I hope the people who voted relegation are joking

Otherwise they deserve to get shot...if it was a choice of beating spurs and going down or staying up and losing to southend I know what i'd choose.

    why can't we do both?

let's be honest we wont get any further than Spurs but hopefully that will boost the team into improving performances in the league as well. As long as we don't get any injuries along the way I think it's very possible to do both. But I think it's obvious most would choose league survival in place of a cup run.
