What are your views on Wiggins/team time trialists/todays rowers etc.

Or hasn't the Daily Mail formed an opinion yet?

I couldn't give a chuff who sings it tbh. Not sure I would sing it if I was a sportsman. For a start it is a ***** song, very royalist rather than celebrating our country. Also much confusion about who it actually represents because England use it, which I have always wondered why. When it comes to sport it should be England, Scotland and Wales, no GB, even at the Olympics.

If I got the opportunity I would sing but I would sing the words to Jerusalem instead. It would be like my own one man protest. And did those feet...

John Terry belts out a good national anthem. Why should a sportsperson be obliged to sing immediately before they compete? Stupid when you think about it. Does the queen do keep-it-uppys before she goes on a royal engagement? She might, but it shouldn't be compulsory.

The ones I saw were too busy crying to sing it. Tears galore.
