Yup, I was there But in the years to come I'll be boring people to death with tales of the Liverpool and Chelsea games. Yesterday won't get a mention.
Down to dissapointment at losing - wasn't that bad a game Watched the match again on video and we played quite well and deserved at least a draw. All the neutrals at work thought that we were the better side, that this was a better game than the day before and that the atmosphere was much better than the day before. Of course they could have been humouring me but since I work with Dee-dar fans, I don't think they would. Couldn't hear the Barsnley fans at all from the £45 seats - the sound just drifted away into the sky but on the box all you could hear was "Come on you Reds" so maybe our support wasn't as bad as people on here are making out.
Oh it will get a mention But not in the same way - Liverpool day one of the best of my life Chelsea an unbelievable sequel then you get reminded who you support with a large bump
although the stadium is immense..... .....the sounds does tend to get a bit lost. Really difficult to get songs going etc dues to the scale of the place and also the corporate tier in the middle which splits the fans up. I thought we made a much better atmosphere at Cardiff, even though we had 30% or so fewer fans there.
