    The Battle for Promotion is over: the Battle against Relegation is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Barnsley Football Club, upon it depends our tarn way of life, the long continuity of the West Stand, our beloved Oakwell.

    The whole fury and might of Sheff U will very soon be turned on us. Jokanovic knows that he must break us this afternoon or lose the match. If we can stand up to him, three points may be gained and our world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands.

    But if we fail, then our whole world, all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of League 1, made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted finance. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty and so bear ourselves that, if Barnsley Football Club and Oakwell last a thousand years, tykes will still say “this was our finest hour.”

    I've watched the red's now for over 50 years and won't be there Sunday due to contracting Covid, but the really sad thing is I don't care .no one has a right to win a football match, but you just know the result in advance with Coco in charge
