That was a hell of a strike for their first goal.

Shame their player couldn't celebrate with his team mates instead of taunting fans mind you.

What happened to the lad stretchered off? (Williamson?)

It was a decent strike but if 30 seconds earlier Steele had called for the ball on a soft cross instead of letting Ramage head it out, their player would never have had the shot. There's a fine line between success and failure and little things like that can make all the difference.

Spot on there gaz. It was also just a few moments after Steele failed to claim the low cross and Lewin cleared it, he needs to open his gob.

That strike from Crainey clipped a reds players boot, that caused the dramatic dip to beat Steele. i was sat in ESL and saw it and heard the double clip. Also if Dawson hadnr have been booked he wouldnt have let David Dunn run that far without a challenge either

And to be fair without Steele we would have been 3 down in the first 20 minutes.

If that wasn't inciting the crowd what is? I'd like to have seen him do that a but further down in that corner of the Ponty. He may have regretted it!

    Give over.
They had 6 shots on target and he let two of them in, he also spilled a couple of soft shots which they failed to capitalise on and it could be argued that the 2nd goal should have been saved given the tightness of the angle and the fact that he scored at the near post. I can't honestly remember him making anything other than a routine save for the other two shots on target.

dont agree with what he did but that crew of bairns ( average age late teens ) with the small fat baldie(thinks hes some kind of hard man) were giving him dogs when he was taking the corners.Hanley the centre half just smiled at them.
