when he signed him there was nothing to suggest that hayes was going to turn into the player he has done. He was banging them in left right and centre for scnuthorpe and ritchie cant see the future. the only info he had was that hayes was playing well at the time so he signed him.

For Goodness Sake Give Hayes a chance.... He has got the potential to a very good signing for the club. He is a young lad who is currently a little low on confidence. He has shown in patches that he has a lot of ability.
