Yes their team was made up of proven quality players costing in excess of 50million ours is made up of young players from the lower leagues given a chance to prove their self at this level.
There must be a "law of diminishing returns" somewhere in football, after which continually chucking money at the team only has a marginal effect on their performance. Obviously at this level fine margins are extremely important. Hence why we're 18th and Wolves are near the top, despite there being apparently very little between the sides a couple of weeks ago.

How much did wolves spend last season? Got them nowhere: same with villa and many others. How well did we do for the first 5/6 months of last season with a team that cost peanuts? How do we know that 3 or 4 of this current squad won't be highly desired by others by the end of the season?
