And everyone else at the club. Thank you so much for putting on those free coaches. It really is appreciated. Yesterday was special. For you to pay for us to be able to experience that means a lot. I couldn't be more impressed with the direction you're taking the club. It's easy to say that when we've just secured a play-off spot, on the back of a cup victory, but it's more than the results on the pitch. Those of you running the club clearly care about us in the stands. We're not there to be exploited, we get something back. All too rare in football that. We're all proud of the way the players have performed this season, but I think we should also be proud of the club as a whole because it is starting to feel like the community club I know you want it to be. I'm a very proud Barnsley fan.
£15 so no one can possibly complain at that can thay ( unless they complain about the increase to £20 on the day
brilliant pricing that. hopefully it gets more people in the ground instead of in front of the telly..
Well said. I don't think the club get everything right on pricing but in the wake of the free travel to Wigan this is a fantastic offer.
Totally agree. Special mention also to the staff at the club, in the ticket office/ shop and those who organised the coaches. It really was a pleasure, and the organisation was great. Didn't surprise me in the slightest to see the staff in the shop, were there organising the coaches, wearing their BFC kit, and there they were in the crowd, cheering the players on. Back in today, sorting out tickets & social media feeds. It's a good atmosphere to work in, but the time constraints / turnaround must be a nightmare. They really do deserve a pat on the back.
Brought a tear to my eye that!! The efforts of everyone involved with Barnsley Football Club is fantastic......I think the sales figures for the season tickets is an indication that fans are united with club too. Win lose or draw Saturday this season has been a season I'll not forget in a hurry.
This with bells on, I have never had anything but good, professional and courteous service from the box office staff.
Half decent weather, £15 a ticket, good football on offer, chance of promotion. If the stay aways don't take up that offer, they don't f*cking deserve a football club. Well done and thank you to Patrick on all counts.
Winning football matches solves a lot, dunnit? But aye, the club as a whole feels in a reight good place. Reminds me of the great escape season in that regard, where we went from the depths of despair to a surreal high in such a quick time-frame. But for whatever reason(s), all that good feeling soon evaporated. Losing games dunt help. But I honestly believe that being open with the fanbase, listening to the fanbase, being truthful with the fanbase... goes a long bloody way. For me at least. As others have mentioned elsewhere on the forum in the last 24 hours, I was at a stage earlier this season where I didn't believe a word coming out of the club. Be that LJ, board members or players. I couldn't see the vision. I couldn't see the talent. In all of them. Altrincham was a dark day. Conor ******* Wilkinson up front, Colace on trial, Scowen injured, the owner talking of leaving the club, losing literally every week, for two months solid. This forum wasn't great reading for a bloke with depression. But it turned. You can point toward this, that or t'other as reasons for that turn. But the supporters and the players take most of the credit, in my opinion. "We're ******* ****" was chanted just 6 months ago. Not by all of us, granted. But that's how bleak it was. And yesterday? It was just like watching Brazil again. No matter what happens in the playoffs, this has been a great season, one to remember. #YouReds
