I'm not a fan of war films so, when t'other half walked in yesterday with a copy of the above mentioned, I wasn't exactly thrilled. I offered to watch the first 10 mins or so fully expecting to be bored out of my tree. Blimey!! What an excellent film that was. I cried buckets during some extremely harrowing scenes and it really opened my eyes to what some of our ancestors have endured in the name of war. I fully recommend it to anyone.
