.....thanks for all your superb efforts in the 2nd half of last season. I will never forget the miraculous escape from relegation and the feeling of fans and players all pulling together as one. The wins against Leeds, Blackpool, Middlesbro, Watford, Brighton, Leicester & Hull were a joy to watch and the finale at Huddersfield in May will live long in the memory. Everything seemed so positive going into the new season, particularly with a new chairman and CEO. How can things have gone so wrong so quickly? Usually when we're struggling and a manager gets the sack I am pleased and relieved but today I feel only sadness, although I have to admit that a parting of the ways was inevitable. Thanks Flicker and all the very best in the future, in whatever capacity it may be. You are a top guy and there will always be a warm welcome whenever you return to Oakwell. Respect.
