    so it proves we are worse than a League 2 side

    if both games had been league games, Rovrum would have taken 3 points from Southampton and we would have taken 1 point.

    That's a daft statistic

    That's like saying about the same number of the Chelsea team we beat last season played most of their games last season and they lost to the better team. Therefore, we shouldn't be in this league and are better than all Premiership teams except Man Utd?

    Our game on Saturday is totally different to the game last night. Different competition, different players, different conditions, they were away from home but at home at the weekend etc etc. Southampton's priortit will have been to stay up, not have a run in the league cup so their commitment and desire will have been different.

    same could be said when liverpool and Chelsea played us last season.......

    Good luck to rotherham...... but the fact that they beat Southampton in the Carling Cup doesn't mean that they are more skillful side than us or Southampton. Are you suggesting they could compete in the championship?

    Thats like saying because we beat Liverpool and Chelsea last season, we are a better side than either of them..... err hello!

    Fact is its a cup competition and not the league and it all comes down to one off games. Who gets the rub of the green and who wants it more on the day.
