These are possibly the five best sentences you'll ever read. Unfortunately, most voters don't know this. 1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity 2. What one person receives without working, another person must work without receiving. 3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not take from somebody else. 4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. 5. When half the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the end of any nation.
Only a Tory half-wit would even begin to suggest that those would probably be the best 5 sentences ever to be read. A total feckwit would say the ARE the best 5 sentences to be read.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it...........................is wrong If a person has £200 he buys one fridge / freezer If you give two people £100 each they will buy two fridge / freezers This increases the wealth of the person that builds fridge / freezers
Nobody is legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. Expecting them to pay tax is not legislating them out of prosperity, they will still be wealthy. Taxes are required in any civilised society in order to pay for services that everyone receives.
