...................... and called me from a pig to a dog for wanting him out, I really, really hope you are enjoying the season so far, I mean that most sincerely.

That's all I'm gong to say, because SD is continuing his fine job of taking us to pub league one, so what more do I need to say?

Oh, one final thing, a message to his squad of players, who supposedly worship the ground he walks on, you are doing a mighty fine job of getting him out before September comes, so keep up the good work, and I'll see you all at Leicester ........... for another dose of misery

Agree. I dont think we can leave it until almost 25% of the season has been played.

despite the first 10 games being non starters as I recall. Four points was it form the first 10?

RE: Changing your mind after 3 games

Before last night I said, 3 games is too soon to sack him. But its getting harder with every performance like that. We just don't seem to be learning, the same simple basic mistakes again and again. Another 2 games like last night and the atmosphere at games will be awful and I can't see any other choice. However every time we got to this position in the last 3 seasons, he pulled a win out and kept himself in the job. How many times can that happen?

We survived on the last day of last season ......

...... how can that be 'OK'?

That will be Davey's next line ........... "judge us after ten games, not 3, that's when the league table settles down"

    Heard it all before

I agree with you on this one...

... if the results don't improve then a 'tipping point' will be reachedfrom which SD will not be able to recover, a criticalmass of anti Davey feeling. I feel this mayoccurat the Readinggame.

    What more do you want?

We have no right to think we can compete with football behemoths like Plymouth, Peterborough, Scnuthorpe, Blackpool, Watford, Swansea and Doncaster Rovers or teams like the free spending Sheffield Wednesday.

    On the contrary

We've had three years of narrow relegation avoidance and now a close-season which has not seen the necessary players identified and brought in for positions we are clearly too weak. I think hiding behind the 3 games excuse when tough decisions need to be taken would be more a sign of weakness.

The thread Davey is hanging on by is the two signings upon which we're awaiting clearance. If these two do not bring drastic and rapid improvement then Davey has to go.

The crowd response at full time wasn't as bad as I expected. I can't see that lasting.

I'd give him 2 more games....

If things don't improve after Leicester & Reading he should be sacked.
