To the BFC Board, why not try……

Why not for arguments sake. For the game against Blackburn for example or whichever home game.

Charge £5 a ticket and try and sell out. By my quick sums, selling maybe 1000 which lately must be the best we do for sales on top season ticket holders gets the club around £28,000.

But sell around 16,000 at 5 a ticket earns the club £80,000. A little bit more maybe for policing etc but a good will gesture and if we win, a good atmosphere and will pull some fans back in.

But one thing we need to change is charging £28. People are obviously not willing to pay that and it is alarming the BFC board are not acting on this.

Have to agree £28 is bad enough....£18 for kids is ridiculous, and worse than that it damages the family friendly credentials and long term future of the club

How much would it cost to print flyers? Somebody on here must work in that industry to give us an idea.

Whenever we've charged £20 it's still been barely above 10k

Plus you won't have part timers getting in for around a 3rd of the price of season ticket holders.

To be fair I couldn't care less if the club charged a fiver a game for the rest of the season. Like anything you purchase, companies change prices after you bought them. If this gets more people through the turnstiles so be it, I won't complain. I'm not sure if I can even be bothered to go tomorrow night, my dad is the same. Our young un hasn't got the choice, too late for him and he thinks kids can't go to night games :)

I couldn't care less either if they charged £5 in for rest of season.

I buy season ticket as its convenient and easier for me, not necessarily cos its cheaper
